Private Ticket Guide for Online Classes
Private Ticket classes are how customers request a date for a class, either privately or as a group.
You set the minimum # of pupils needed, the days you are available each week and the time you're free. Those slots will then be available for people to request at your discretion.
Getting flexitime/private sessions set up is really easy, here is how:
-
Make sure you are logged into your Obby dashboard, if you need a reminder of how to do this, just click here.
-
Once logged in, go to the tab that says 'Classes', then press 'All'.
-
Select 'Manage' on the listing you want to add the ticket to.
-
Click the 'Manage Tickets' button on the Tickets & Pricing tile. (shown below).
-
When you see the Bundles & Private Booking section, press 'Private Session Settings'.
-
Press 'Allow Private Sessions'. This will open up the following form.
-
Hopefully, the minimum and the maximum number of guests is self-explanatory. The pricing is per person, so make sure that is correct too.
-
Then tell us what days you can run a 'Flexitime' class on and what start times can be used.
-
Let us know the duration of the class and the number of days notice that you need to arrange the class.
-
Fill in all the other details, then press 'Save Changes'.
How will this class take place?
As a live online class, you will be asked to provide a Zoom (/video chat) link when confirming a new Flexitime/Private booking. This means that you'll only need to create the link when someone makes a request with you, and once added (when prompted), the customer will automatically have access via the booking emails and account online.
Flexitime classes are a great way to offer either 1-1 class (by setting the minimum and maximum number of guests to 1), or a private group booking (by setting the minimum to your required number).
-
If you would like to offer both those options then we would recommend adding the group ticket in your ticket types to your class with regular dates.
-
Then add a new class for a private 1-1 class (adding "Private" before the class title). This gives you the option to add a little more to the private class description too!
