Recording Online Classes
If you're a teacher running live online classes with Obby via Zoom, you may wonder if there is a possibility to record this, so students who have taken the class may be able to look back at certain parts (e.g. how to knead bread after they have left it to rise when the class finishes).
There is no reason why you cannot do this, but there are a few rules (sorry, we know there're enough of these already in the world!) that you must follow.
Dos and Don'ts for recording in Zoom
Do ask all student's permission before recording any Zoom classes. Besides the legal implications, you need to be considerate of any students who may not be comfortable with this.
Don't share the recording in public or send to any students other than those who paid for and participated in the class.
Don't send to any students that missed the class. If you are happy for them to reschedule for free, then you can contact us to arrange this.
If you have any further questions, please contact us.
