Obby Image Guidelines

You'll need at least two images to upload a class onto Obby, but they have to be good ones!

1. Your School Page Image

This is the image that shows as a little portrait on all your class pages and also on your school page, it should be a photo of you, the teacher.

This image can also be used on our social media to promote your classes - if it fits the guidelines outlined.

Guidelines for this image

  • High Resolution - Take it on an HDLR camera. An iPhone picture won't be featured unless extremely high quality

  • They should show teachers in context

  • Strong focus on the person

  • Look relaxed & friendly

  • Naturally lit - find somewhere with daylight

  • The subject should be in the centre of the image

2. Class and Product Images

You need at least 1 image of the class in action to add to your class page, although it is best to have at least 4 photos to show off your class/product.

Guidelines for these images

  • Use high-quality JPG, PNG or GIF files

  • Landscape

  • Natural daylight

  • High Resolution (again on an HDLR, iPhone pictures aren't good enough)

  • Avoid students or people looking directly at the camera

  • Capturing real moments of the students working

  • A good angle of the classroom so people know where their class is taking place
