What is the Obby Guarantee and how does it work?

The workshop, class or course I attended wasn't what I expected - what do I do?

We ensure quality. If your class doesn't reach your expectations, we'll give your money back.

If this has happened, we are really sorry about that. We endeavour to approve all of our teachers on Obby, so a negative review is extremely rare!

So that we can launch a full investigation, please read the T&Cs below and then click the button at the bottom of the page to start the process.

Terms & Conditions:

  1. For a one-off class, you must contact Obby within 7 days of the class date to be eligible to receive a full refund, at that point Obby has the right to investigate any claims made by you with the class host and has 30 days to resolve any issues that may arise.

  2. For a bundle booking or course, you must make contact with Obby before the 3rd session of the course and decide that it is not suitable and you would like a refund. If you complete a block-booking or course of 3 or more sessions and have not notified Obby before the 3rd session, you will not be eligible to claim back on the Obby guarantee.

  3. For a product/learning kit, you must contact Obby within 30 days of the date of dispatch, at which point Obby has the right to investigate any claims made by you with the supplier and has 30 days to resolve any issues that may arise.

  4. If you fail to read the class description in full and want to make a claim based on a factor included in the description (for example class size, structure or materials) you will not be eligible for a refund.

How do I make a claim?

To make a claim based on the Obby Guarantee, use the 'Contact Obby' button in your bookings area:

To qualify, please copy and paste the below prompts into your message, and provide as much information as possible in your responses:

  • In your own words, please let us know why the class or course did not meet your expectations.

  • If you had to pick 1 overwhelming reason why you did not enjoy it, what would that be? (select one of the following)

    • The experience did not take place at the date, time or location specified;

    • The experience was significantly shorter than what I expected, meaning I learnt less than I wanted;

    • The experience was not good quality;

    • The Teacher was not appropriately qualified;

    • The teacher venue was inappropriate

  • Do you want to reschedule to another date or request a full refund?

What happens once I get in touch?

Once you get in touch, we will investigate further and get back to you within 14 days of your first message.
