I need to cancel my booking and would like a refund
We understand, sometimes things change that can get in the way of your learning!
Is it more than 7 days before your in-person class (or you booked less than 24 hrs ago), or 48 hrs before your online class?
If your in-person class is more than 7 days away, then cancelling is easy. You can either click the "Manage Booking" button in any of your emails or below to be taken to your Bookings page.
If your online class is more than 48 hrs away, then cancelling is easy. You can either click the "Manage Booking" button in any of your emails or below to be taken to your Bookings page.
N.B. You must be logged into your Obby user account to access this page. If you do not have a user account - please create one now using the same email address that you used to purchase your class. If you do not have an account using the same email address you used to purchase your class, you will not be able to make any changes.
Once you successfully open your bookings page, find the booking you want to reschedule and click the "Cancel" button that appears underneath the details (example below).
You will be taken to a new page (below), this will take you through the cancellation process. Simply select your reason, leave a message so that we can let the Teacher know why you need to cancel and then select your refund method.
Once you fill out the necessary information and click "Cancel Booking" you will be sent an email confirming your cancellation.
Is it less than a week before your in-person class, or less than 48 hrs before your online class?
If your in-person class is less than 7 days away, then sadly we are unable to authorise a refund unless your circumstances are exceptional.
If your online class is less than 48 hrs away, then sadly we are unable to authorise a refund unless your circumstances are exceptional.
Exceptional circumstances include:

Death of immediate family member or guest;

Sudden serious illness or injury (which will require medical proof);
Please note, the following circumstances do not apply:

Positive Covid test

Disruption caused strike action
You must notify Obby or the teacher at least 12 hours before your class start time to apply for a refund under exceptional circumstances.
If, in exceptional circumstances, you do need to cancel, then let us know by using the 'Contact Obby' button in your Bookings area:

To qualify, you must quote the Exceptional Circumstance from the list above, and provide any further information you believe relevant.
