I need to reschedule my booking
We understand, sometimes things change that can get in the way of your learning! We will do our utmost to make sure you don't miss out on your class.
Is it more than 7 days before your in-person class, or 48 hrs before your online class?
If your in-person class is more than 7 days away, then rescheduling is easy. You can either click the "Manage Booking" button in any of your emails or below to be taken to your Bookings page.
If your online class is more than 48 hrs away, then rescheduling is easy. You can either click the "Manage Booking" button in any of your emails or below to be taken to your Bookings page.
N.B. You must be logged into your Obby user account to access this page. If you do not have a user account - please create one now using the same email address that you used to purchase your class. If you do not have an account using the same email address you used to purchase your class, you will not be able to make any changes.
Once you successfully open your bookings page, find the booking you want to reschedule and click the "Reschedule" button that appears underneath the details (example below).
You will be taken to a new page, this will show all the upcoming dates that are available to reschedule onto. All you have to do is select the date you want to reschedule to and voila!
You will then be sent an email confirming your change of booking and the new details for your class.
If there are no dates in the future, you will not be able to reschedule your bookings, but you will be able to cancel it. If this is the case, please follow click here to find out how to do that.
Please note, the following applies to bookings made via the Obby marketplace only, and not via any teacher websites directly.
Is it less than a week before your in-person class, or less than 48 hrs before your online class?
If your in-person class is less than 7 days away, then sadly we are unable to authorise a reschedule unless your circumstances are exceptional.
If your online class is less than 48 hrs away, then sadly we are unable to authorise a reschedule unless your circumstances are exceptional.
Exceptional circumstances include:

Death of immediate family member or guest;

Sudden serious illness or injury (which will require medical proof);
Please note, the following circumstances do not apply:

Positive Covid test

Disruption caused strike action
You must notify Obby or the teacher at least 12 hours before your class start time to apply for a reschedule/cancellation under exceptional circumstances.
If, in exceptional circumstances, you do need to reschedule, then let us know by using the 'Contact Obby' button in your Bookings area:

To qualify, you must quote the Exceptional Circumstance from the list above, and provide any further information you believe relevant.
What do I do if I couldn't join my online class due to technical issues?
If you have technical issues when joining an online class, you must let us know straight away.
If you do not notify us or your teacher of a technical issue within 24 hrs from your class start time, you will not be eligible for a reschedule of your booking. You will not be eligible for a refund at any time (after the class start time) unless circumstances are exceptional.
