What are Private tickets (Flexitime) and how do I add them?
Private tickets are how customers request a date for booking for either a private or group class.
You set the minimum # of pupils needed, the dates you are available and the time you want to teach and those slots are available for people to request at your discretion.
Getting flexitime setup is really easy, here is how:
-
Make sure you are logged into your Obby dashboard, if you need a reminder of how to do this, just click here.
-
Once logged in, go to the tab that says 'Classes', then press 'All'.
-
Select 'Manage Listing' on the class you'd like to add private tickets to, and then click on the 'Tickets & Pricing' tile.
-
Scroll down until you see the following section, then press 'Private Session Settings'.
-
Once there, toggle 'Allow Private Sessions' to on, then fill out the form.
-
Hopefully, the minimum and the maximum number of guests is self-explanatory. The pricing is per person, so make sure that is correct too.
-
Then tell us what days you can run a Flexitime class on and what start times can be used.
-
Example. If you can only run a class starting at 4 pm then make sure to enter 16:00 for the "Between" and "And" time. Alternatively, if you can start the class anytime between midday and 4 pm then enter 12:00 into the "Between" time and 16:00 into the "And" time.
-
Let us know the duration of the class and the number of days notice that you need to arrange the class.
-
Select the location and voila! All done.
Private Tickets are a great way to offer either a 1-1 class (by setting the minimum and maximum number of guests to 1), or a private group booking (by setting the minimum to your required number).
-
If you would like to offer both those options then I would recommend adding the group option to your class with a group ticket type.
-
Then add a new class for a private 1-1 class (adding "Private" before the class title). This gives you the option to add a little more to the private class description too!
