Termly Bookings (and trials)

Our termly event structure allows you to create dates which are bound together over a period of days, weeks or months, which a customer can book to try out just once, or purchase all the sessions in one go.

Customers can join termly sessions once the first date has passed, and are automatically charged the pro-rated value for the entire term which remains.

New Class

Pop to the 'Classes' dropdown, and click 'Add new'.

Make sure that, on the following page the event type selected is Termly.

Complete this form, making sure that the price you select is for the entire price of all of your termly sessions bought as one group.

Availability

Next, after saving, you will be taken to the management page for this event.

Visit the Availability tab at the top of the page to see how to add your term (block) of sessions by clicking the Add Term button:

Be aware: when setting up your schedule, be careful to select the days which make up one term or block and should be purchased together.

If you want one block on Tuesday nights, and one on Thursday nights, then you just have to do this form once for Tuesdays, and once again for Thursdays.

Trials

Now that you've got your terms established, you can opt to turn on trials.

Trials will allow a customer to book any one of your termly blocks on a listing once, and only ever once.

You can chose which sessions of your term allow trial bookings.

Adding Trials

Trials can only be added once your term dates are added, so please make sure you've completed the steps above before attempting to add Trials.

To create your trial ticket go to: Manage > Tickets & Pricing > Trial Ticket Settings*

*if you cannot see this option, it may be that the event type is not 'termly'. If this is the case, please go back and remake your event, making sure to chose termly as the event type.

Here you can establish your trial price, and whether it includes VAT.

Make sure to click the slider 'Enable Trial Ticket' or your customers won't be able to purchase it!

Allow Trial Bookings

You then need to visit Availability to turn the trial on for whichever dates of the term you'd like your customers to be able to buy trials.

Here, you can click on the editing pencil to add trials to your whole termly block in one go. Or you can click on each individual date, and scroll down to the availability options to turn on Trials.
