Appointment Booking

Obby's appointment booking system is designed to give you one seamless tool to list multiple service slots of different durations and prices through one calendar.
Here's a quick look at how it works:
How do I set up the appointment booking system?
So, to start with appointment booking, you will firstly need an event. If you haven't done this already, head to 'Classes', then 'Add new'. Make sure to select 'Singular' as the event type.
Once you have a basic event set up to your liking, head to 'All' classes.
Press 'Manage' on the event for which you would like to set up appointment booking.
Once in the event management screen, press 'Availability' from the bar at the top of the screen.
You'll be able to see three options: your fixed dates, the new 'by appointment' system, and group requests.
(As this article is about a feature which we're currently testing before general release, the 'By appointment' is showing as locked; it will not for you.)
Press the 'By Appointment' tile.
You'll now see the following:
Slide the 'Enable Appointments' status to On!
This is the new area where you can create your daily availability. It may seem quite complex initially, but this just means there is so much flexibility and freedom for you to set this up exactly how you need it.
Let's create some availability for several different services, every weekday and a shorter day on Saturday, with different pricing and times, so you can see the full capabilities of the system.
Select the first day you want to set up by clicking the little tick box next to the day name.
This form will pop up.
So, let's begin setting up one timeslot. Let's say you are available from 10am - 1pm, at which point you have a lunch break. Any Pricing Options you set up in one form are all constrained by that time slot. In the below example, we have two different length and priced versions of the same service.
To add a second one, like in the example, you just have to press 'Add new price'.
You can add as many services to one timeslot as you like.
Then, assign an instructor(s) and press 'Done'. You can also see that you can disable each timeslot whenever you want.
Now, we want to set up the hours after lunch. To copy the same two services over, press the two little pages icon here:
This will open the same form again, with the same services set up, but blank timing. In this example, we've added 2pm-6pm.
You can edit these at any time by pressing the cog icon, and delete them by pressing the bin icon.
To add a completely new timeslot, press the plus icon on the right. To copy every timeslot on the day to other days of the week, press the far right copy (two pages) icon.
Make sure before you choose to copy to another day, that you want to copy every timeslot on the first day to the second.
Choose the days and press 'Apply'.
You can see here, we've made a variety of timeslots, and multiple services, that vary per day.
Once your timeslots are set up to your liking (or not, you can edit them anytime), head to the 'Guests' section.
Choose the maximum and minimum number of guests, and the amount of notice you need to confirm an appointment.
Then pick from your locations or add a new one.
For 'Availability Limits/Rules', you can choose from three options.
Make sure to press 'Save Changes'.
You'll be able to see that Appointments are enabled on the right of your screen.
To view how they look to a customer after you publish your event, press 'View'.
Select this option:
