Can I keep my domain on Baluu?

Your domain is the unique name given to your website, so it can be found on the internet. All websites have them, and most website-builders will provide you with one of their own for free.

More often than not, however, you can buy a domain through your website provider, or through a domain registrar. This will allow you to make your website's domain feel a bit more personal.

So, instead of scoobydoo.website-builder.co.uk, you may have paid to have it changed to ScoobyDoo.co.uk

If you've bought a domain via any external provider - be that a website builder, or domain registrar - then you own it, and can use it as your domain on Baluu!

Please note, you will need to keep paying for your domain separately to Baluu, in order to continue owning it.

How do I transfer my domain to Baluu?

You can transfer your domain to Baluu for free if you're an annual Growth subscriber - or for a one-off fee on any of our other paid plans.

You just need to get in touch with your Success Manager, and send us:
- Domain
- UTR references

- CNAME

All of this information can be found wherever it is you currently manage your domain. Check out the list of common domain providers below to see how to transfer from your current service.

We will then process the transfer of your domain, so your Baluu URLs will match. This will take up to 48 hours.
