How do Obby's pricing plans work?

With Obby Tools, you get simple pricing, no long term commitments, and a free trial - but how does it all work?

How long does the free trial last and when does it start?

Your free trial with Obby starts as soon as you create your account. This lasts for 30 days and applies to all plan types. If you decide to upgrade or downgrade during your free trial, you will remain on the trial until the 30 days are up, at which time your subscription for your current plan will start.

If I start on the Free plan, will I be eligible for a free trial if I choose to move to a paid plan at any point?

No, your free trial is applied to all plans, including the Free plan. This means you are no longer eligible for a free trial once 30 days have passed since you first created your account, even if you move from the Free plan to a paid one.

How do I upgrade my account, and how does it work?

You can upgrade your plan at any time via this page in your Profile in the Account Settings of your dashboard.

When you choose to upgrade, your new plan will be effective straight away, giving you access to new features you haven't had access to before. Upgrading will also immediately charge you the difference between your old and new plan. Your subscription will automatically be updated so your next bill (monthly or annually) will be the upgraded price.

What happens when I downgrade plans?

Firstly, make sure you are certain you want to downgrade before doing so. You will be agreeing to lose a number of features on the dashboard that you may rely on.

If you choose to downgrade, your plan and features will not change until the end of your billing period, whether this is monthly or annually.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time by getting in touch with the Obby team, however we do not provide pro-rata refunds. Therefore, once cancelled, you will not be charged at the start of your next payment cycle.

Please note, no refund is possible for the days or months remaining until the start of your next payment cycle but you will continue to have access to your current plan features until that point.
